It’s Plan With Me time!

PLAN WITH ME July 2018! Bullet Journal Watercolour Set-Up

This month, I wanted to do something comfortable, that wouldn’t require too much fussing around, while still being pretty and looking as if I spent ages creating it. So, I’ve decided that for July, our theme is going to be…

*drumroll*

Pink Lemonade!

"Teach us your ways, Srish!"

That has got to be the most popular comment on any of my art posts. More often than not, it is followed up by "I could never draw like you do!"

Guess what, friend - you totally can!

Don't believe me?
Try it out for yourself!

That's right, I'm officially opening up a brand new Youtube Series, BUDGET ART SCHOOL.

This series is specifically designed for those of you with little to no art experience, kind of like me when I first started out.

The early stages of this series will equip you with all the basic terminology, concepts and art theory that I've learned over the last eight years, explained in a way that makes it super easy for you to apply these not just to your drawing process, but also to your observational skills.

For real, dear readers, this is actually happening, AND IT'S FREE!

Yup, I'm so done with schools charging sky-high prices, and while I am by no means a certified art teacher, I'm pretty sure I'm in a position to share with you all of the concepts about art that I've learned over nearly a decade of being self-taught.

While a lot of the first half will deal with general art concepts that apply to every style, the later lessons will have more to do with my own style of realistic portrait and figures. In other words, we gon' draw every person on this planet, y'all!

Excited?

Check out lessons 1 and 2 below!

I hope you've enjoyed this series so far, and I'm super excited to share new episodes with you every Thursday! Make sure you're subscribed to my Youtube channel and turn that notification bell on so you don't miss a single one!

Thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you next week!

All my love,

It's podcast Friday, y'all!

I know you've missed it as much as I have, so today, I'm talking to you about something that has affected all our lives at some point or another: the idea of seeking approval.

If you've found yourself wondering about how "legit" your work, study, or business is, then this is definitely the episode for you! I share some interesting thoughts about why we are constantly look outwards for permission, and why someone else's approval seems to matter more than our own.

I also share one super simple trick to getting over this need for permission that I use every single morning, and I think everyone should be doing it, too!

Click the picture below to listen to the half-hour-long episode!

Don't have the time yet/ not sure what to expect?

That's cool, check out the first 15 minutes of this episode below:

So what kind of approval-seeking behaviour are you letting go of? Let me know in the comments below, or on Instagram, Twitter, or even Youtube!

As always, thank you so much for tuning in, I hope you enjoy the episode.

All my love,

Hey heyyy!

Yup, if you haven't heard (or seen) it yet, we're now on Youtube!!!

Gosh I'm SO excited about this channel and the wonderful response it has gathered already, and I have no words to express my thanks for all of you lovely people who have subscribed and commented on my channel already!

THANK YOU!

So on the giveaway I held recently (which got a total of exactly 333 entries, kind of freaky and amazing!) one of the criteria for extra entries was to leave me a comment telling me what you wanted to see on my new Youtube channel. And the number one, most requested topic was to share a Bullet Journal Set-Up and Plan With Me video for my new journal.

And as you well know by now, your wish is my command!

Note: New videos come out every Wednesday/Thursday, so make sure you Subscribe and enable Notifications so you don't miss out!

Here we go!

And on the off chance you missed it, here's my very first video, a review of the Bullet Journal I'm moving into!

Again, make sure you Subscribe to the channel, and leave me a comment on either of the videos with your requests! I live to make your dreams come true!

Thank you for watching, and I'll see you again soon!
